Orca Industries highly skilled team of service technicians have successfully completed the various manufacturers’ service courses. Orca prides itself in not only being certified, but also experienced and up to-date with the latest industry news and developments. Most require special tools. Orca Industries dedicated workshop only uses the most advanced special tools and equipment supplied by top industry manufacturers to service regulators and buoyancy compensators.
Cylinders:
Orca offers a full house when it comes to cylinder servicing and testing. Orca Industries advanced Test Station received its accreditation in 1993 from the Department of Labour and is certified to test cylinders under the SABS CODE 0195 – 2001. Orca Industries also imports the latest state-of-the-art non-destructive technology for the testing and servicing of cylinders. The visual plus uses eddy currents to thoroughly inspect aluminium cylinders. As the electrical current flows through the metal, VISUAL PLUS measures tiny fluctuations in the electrical current and can detect the smallest imperfections. Other services offered by Orca includes; Chemical cleans, pillar valve services, re-spray’s, O2 cleaning & bulk (50l) cylinder testing.
General Equipment Repairs:
Orca Industries dedicated workshop offers general repairs to backpacks, tents bags and a broad-spectrum of hiking, climbing and diving equipment. Small repairs or adjustments can be made by Orca Industries own workshop on site.
